also another former BU target that blew up to 4-Stars just verbaled to Mizzou...
they are stockpiling a lot of talent there....
past BU Brave Ronnie Suggs is a redshirt junior there this year - but I have to think if he doesn't get much playing time (and it sure looks like he might not)
then by next season, he would, in all likelihood, be able to go as a grad transfer and play somewhere and help some midmajor --
we know he had the talent - it'll be interesting to see what he does...

That may sound encouraging, however 247sports.com is often wrong. And the 100% is based apparently on one single guy-

I have heard from a far more reliable source that although our coaches are optimistic, they believe Bradley's chances may be more like 50-50 at this time. But I believe the chances are much better than that. :)

This was posted here about 6 weeks ago- a recruiting guy's prediction about Alex Hemenway from Sept. 9....so it is not breaking news

In the meantime, Hemenway seems to have gone silent and hasn't even gone on any more visits that we know of - he might still commit this fall - or maybe he will wait until spring...

but he seems still undecided as he isn't saying much or doing any more interviews...
 
Bradley is also following Class of 2020 Jeron Artest, who is a teammate of Stephan Gabriel at Hillcrest Prep in Phoenix. He is the son of Ron Artest (aka Metta World Peace), and is a 6'2" quick point guard who has developed into an outstanding outside shooter as well as an effective passer and penetrator.
He has had several outstanding AAU games this past summer and now with Hillcrest's team this fall. And he is starting to get high-major interest.

I believe the staff feels Ville will be a better player both immediately and long term. I think his commitment ended Bradley's recruitment of Hemenway.

6'9" Metamora senior Thomas Hall, who Bradley's basketball coaches have been following, was injured in tonight's Class 5A IHSA Football 1st round playoff game. He is the team's quarterback, and has had a tremendous season. He was helped off the field after being tackled. Metamora lost to Joliet Catholic 49-20.

There are reports he has a knee injury that could be serious. Let's hope not, since he has a bright future as a D1 basketball recruit.

One other BU target, Michael Moreno, still has not said when he will decide or announce...
He has offers from Bradley, Evansville, Winthrop, EKU, Canisius, Toledo, Little Rock, and possibly an offer from Iowa
 
Former BU recruit Alex Hemenway will choose between a final four of Clemson, Creighton, DePaul, and Belmont.

As we have said, he eliminated Bradley after Ville Tahvanainen committed.

I do not know which he'll choose, but my money is on Belmont.
 
Hemenway's father was friends growing up with current Clemson head coach Brad Brownell and so there's a pretty strong connection there....but Clemson offers 4-Star & 5-Star kids every year so Hemenway might be smart enough to know he could get recruited over there...
In fact, they already have 5 other 4-Star rated wing players & guards right now...

and both Creighton & DePaul are up to their necks with involvement in this huge FBI federal corruption case....

so Belmont might be the best place to get playing time right away and have a fine 4-year career.
