It is done. We need to move on. I would love for RA to stay, but if he doesn't understand that we did this to better ourselves and does not want to be a part of that process....well that is unfortunate. I understand.

I think Algo is saying the coaching change is done and we need to drop it.

For some reason, this quote from Remy makes me think he's gone: "They want to keep me but he said he??™s not the type of coach that will hold me if I don??™t want to go there. He wants the best for me." Hope I'm wrong...

I guess we can take bits and pieces from what he said and come up with different conclusions. What I read from the DR article was very positive.
 
He also said this: "It's a great place for me. I feel like I could be a big fish in a small pond. I like that."

Now I know that was last fall and there has been a coaching change but all the other reasons for saying that are still true. Also, it sounds as if his talents may be better utilized under Coach Ford's playing style.

...Although how often does a salesman tell a willing customer, don't do anything now,instead sleep on it...

Whatever path he chooses, I do think Remy has handled this situation with class, and I wish him the best in the future.

And continuing to refer to the program as being in the midsts of a "fallout" helps sway recruits in what way? She simply said that reading message boards is a good way to get the vibe of a fan base not that Jalen committed to BU because of what she read on this board.
 
I disagree -- potential recruits sometimes even see roster openings as a great opportunity!
I think the fact that even some at BU who read the boards are thankful for the immensely positive tone on BradleyFans and the minimum of negativity here -- and specifically are thankful for certain discussions that have been brought to my attention hint to me that the things the athletic department hate to see have never existed in any post of mine...

Nope -- what they hate to see are personal rips and criticisms of the staff and players and comments like "isn't worth a scholarship" or "isn't a D-I player"...."terrible coaching", "bad recruiting", "we need a change"...etc...

Hey -- I suggest if you want to know what negativity is....go back and read those threads where folks wanted Jim Les fired, and trashed several of the players...
 
Maybe I'm wrong here, but I think the longer this drags out the more likely Abell is gone. Don't you think that if he told Geno he was honoring his commitment it would have been announced already? I believe that until the paperwork is final, and received by both parties, nothing will be announced. I can forsee a dual announcement- Abell is gone and Crawford is signed. Until all of the paperwork is done, we won't hear anything. The suspense is killing me!

I'm thinking more...dual announcement: Crawford AND Remy.

Just a positive thought though, folks. I know less than nothing.

I would go nuts however.

I believe Gene got a NO yesterday but he asked Remy to sleep on it and give it more consideration.

If it were a yes - we would have heard yesterday or this morning.

Gene is trying for a hail mary with a few seconds left on the clock.

I agree with coach. I think he is gone.

You may be right vut if it was myself and my mind was pretty well made up that I was leaving and then the new coach came to visit and I was kind of impressed then I may well take an extra day or 2 to make up my mind imo
