Congratulations Sam Maniscalco - the MVC Player of the Week!!

Must have been those 3 FT's -- as Andrew Warren had a pretty good week, too as did a lot of other Valley players!

To small, to slow, poor d player, shouldn't be a starter, better coming off the bench, hurt/won't play, poor shooter, just some of the crazy crap said about him before every year:roll: But come opening tip off for each game, Sam is in there and gives his all till the final horn:!: But make no mistake about him, he is a real deal, a team leader both on and off the court and has been from the first year here:D Some nights his shooting may lag but his effort and desire never has:!: Congrats Sammy

No one could have said it better OOB.

great week for Sammy.... but is McDermott just a shoe-in weekly for newcomer award.... The only reason I say this is Lemon has had a few decent games such as bringing us back against USC

You're taking my schtick... ;)

We're not going to start with the Chuck Norris style jokes re Sam Maniscalco?

Congratulations Sam. Hope your ankle gets better and you can put a full season in this year. Keep up the great work.

Sam Maniscalco doesn't play the game of basketball, he plays a game with the game of basketball.

uhhh...

Sam doesn't foul out, the game runs away from him.

40 mpg is not enough for Sam

If SM missed a free throw the Earth would stop rotating.

Sam's ankles are fine.

The problem is the bottom of his shoes are caked with crushed opponents.
