Reynolds at practices

Good read.....this is the kind of updates that get you excited for the season! And I agree....everyone looks bigger but JP really stands out, his arms are really big now!

JP = Do-zer, Do-zer, Do-zer, Do-zer!

The new 'Bulldozer' chant! If you want the stereo treatment, one side of the stadium yells "BULLl", the other side yells "DOZE", and the first side finishes with "ER"!

Where are the detractors giving credit where credit is due? DR always does a great job, and I think KW does as well.

Regarding the players, the size increase from our front line was noticeable last night (I noted this in the 'news from the hoopla' thread). Let's hope their games have grown as much as their muscles have.

You are 1/2 right! I've always given my props to DR.

This is very good coverage and I have always thought DR does a great job with the columns he writes -- although I have wanted to see more and on a more regular basis..

Sammy, Dodie, and Andrew Warren are tri-captains, Jake Eastman grew an inch to 6-5 (as big as Jeremy Crouch), Walt Lemon is lightning quick and will challenge for minutes, and both AT (who has a hamstring) & JP are up to 240...
I hate to be Debbie Downer, but what among all this hasn't already been discussed on the board for the past few weeks?

Wow. You've got a message board, blog, and twitter account constantly updated by you with BU info, and you are negative because the article has no new info for you? That's crazy.

They are not going to write for the members of this board, they are going to write for the other 99% of Bradley fans. I myself also like hearing it from a reporter at practice, not some goofy fan seeing a player walk into One World or whatever.

Why does everything have to have a negative spin? It's a fantastic article and BB starts bringing up "Detractors" and you try to slant it so it is not good coverage. How about enjoying the article instead of going back to our old sides of the same argument that will never be solved?

I'm just hoping it will help them establish a position in the lane to rebound or back down a defender for an easier basket. Even if their offensive skills are the same, we'd be better in the paint. IMO

I agree that there was nothing new in that article. Would be nice to hear something we haven't heard before.

If I summarize info from this board and put it in a letter to the editor will you guys give me a cookie for great BU coverage? Didn't think so.

The article is nice, but probably 70% of the content in the article could have been gathered from just casual observation from the Hoopla event. That being said, it is a start for hopefully a series of articles covering the Braves. DR does a good job covering the Braves, but, imo for an article to be considered great, there needs to be more meaningful insight.

But don't you get it...the article ISN'T for hardcore fans that might allreay know this stufff. Its for the 99% of BU fans that DON'T obsess with the stuff like WE do.

Besides.....ANYTHING I hear on some silly meeage board or goofy blog must be taken with a grain of salt becuase the standards of truth and accuracy don't compare to what comes from journalists.

If this is the case, then perhaps the PJS is once again underestimating their audience!;-)

Exactly right fellas! And any good coverage is better than NO BU coverage. This is, if nothing else, a good PR piece for BU Basketball.

You really think so Ben...when I wasn't a message board geek/freak the story he just wrote was what I lived off of....and for the casual fan its the info they are looking for.

I think DR does a good job covering the Braves. Maybe there's a reason, but how come this was a blog and not printed in the JS. Not all of the "99%" have blog capabilities. Remember now fans, if you report on seeing a BU player outside of practice, you are a "goofy fan".

I agree that they shouldn't be writing for the fans that frequent the internet on an hourly, daily, or even weekly basis. However, I'm not quite sure why "the detractors" were mentioned where it concerns a Dave Reynolds article. I don't believe he is the one people have a problem with and one of the common problems with the PJS has more to do with the frequency of any Bradley reporting. I enjoyed the article, mostly because it gave the "commoners" something about this year's Bradley basketball team and not just asking the "commoners" how hot JL's seat is.

Yeah.....like John Wilkins committing to Iowa State.

I think he was trying to make a point about rumor, etc., because the "goofy fan" who wrote that started a thread about running into MK at a wedding.

Personally I'll take any BU info! I like the DR article because it confirms the info I'm getting on here from all the other goofy fans!!
