I want your guys opinions. I know this has been discussed a lot lately, and after the recent 2 game skid I want to know where the members here stand on the viewpoint. Answer the poll and let me know how you guys feel. As for my opinion ~ Les is nearing the hot seat. I will give him next year. If he makes the NIT next year I will support him for another year to see if it improves. I realize the program has had quite a few injuries/external problems, but every program does. Les will have to step it up next year.

Looking at other programs in the Valley, BU has done nothing in the league with Les at the helm. No championships (regular or tournament), and one miracle run in 06', along with a steadily declining team the past 3 years. Next year is boom or bust.

Well I want to see how people feel if Bradley finishes strong, which is still possible considering that we have a lot of home games left, and Creighton will be our toughest remaining road game. I know these are tough home games, but they are at home, and Missouri St. knows all too well how quickly the momentum can shift from one venue to the next.

He needs to contend for a championship next season and if he can get a couple of good recruits that can actually contribute next year he has a good nucleus of players returning that should be in line to accomplish this, I will continue to support him thru next season but he needs to make something happen by then or I will have to say it is time for a change, I want him to succeed as I think we will be hard pressed to find anyone with as much passion as he has for BU.
The new facilities should help in a big way.

i will support coach les as long as he is here. he is one our own. sometimes people want change thinking it will be better. i dont feel that way. lets help coach les. not try to get him fired.

If JG and MC release JL after the season, I wouldn't argue with it provided that they have thoroughly assessed all facets of the program and have determined that JL is not the right guy for the future. But, they had better be ready to run a top notich search. It becomes their problem if they let JL go and fan expectations will be huge.

If I was making the decsion, I would give JL one more season. This is a down year, but that happens to programs regardless of how good the head coach is. JL is very close to being top-tier. He needs an inside player and a willingness to play bigger.

I went with wait a year or two...

I like JL, how can I not, once a Brave always a Brave. I'm loyal that way. Also we need a return on our investment and he has given us some of that, I hope the Illini game is not my only high of the year :) I've got a low grade on the team this year but it doesn't mean they can't turn things around, I think we've got good players, it just seems that every team we play the other players on that team have their best game against us and the ones that shoot 50% from the free-throw line never miss. Our team and coaches are in a funk, they all wanted to do better and there is still a chance. It's not over until March, I think this poll could have waited a month or so.

Les gets one more year with me regardless of how the rest of the season ends.

But we need to be looking at a top 3 finish and either NIT or NCAA next year.

As stated before, he's got 1 more year left to figure out a way to finish in the top 3. Regardless if 2 or 3 players leave this offseason besides Roberts and Singh. I sure hope Les plans to hit that recruiting trail hard because i'm predicting a turbulent offseason of BU players leaving and recruits yanking their verbals.
