PJ Star article on Will Egolf

Will was already committed to Bradley before there ever was any thought of his brother coming to Peoria. And I believe his brother was already living in Peoria for a year or more before he got a job at BU.
 
Since I am into reviving threads....I think Will deserves one, too

Will looks like a guy who has NEVER injured his knee and is performing way above what many guys would be doing only a year after major knee reconstruction surgery...
He has a big heart but is a fierce competitor......so thanks for all the hard work you've put in, Will....it's paying off and we are enjoying the results......
 
Love Will's play and even more so as of late...

He's looking like he's finally back, and if we can get him somewhere around double figs in points and rebounds, look out in St. Louis!
 
There's no way anyone can convince me he wouldn't have made a little bit of a difference last year. Not a season-changing difference, but he could have perhaps been the difference between 4th and 3rd, which may have meant NIT instead of CIT. Scary thing is...Will is only a sophomore. :D
 
Will played last night very confidently, he is getting much better at defending the post and has decided to rebound.

But, he still is having big issues at the ft line, he makes questionable decisions on his outlet passes... ie the pass he made that led to Warrens silly intentional foul was bad and he had a chance to wrap up Sams FT miss under 30 seconds to go and let SIU muscle the ball out of his hands. So sometimes he needs to play more physical with the ball.

But overall he has really improved his game and he certainly is a leader on this team.

'Ice Man' should be his name. He's from Alaska, is white, and has kind of a Vanilla Ice look to him (minus the hair). Now if he can just get that 'ice water' in his veins when he goes to the FT line... :D
