Ha ha! You're going to put this thread up before each game dogsrus?
Seriously though, Saturday's game is big in that a loss at home to Evansville would be devastating and would unravel every good thing this team has done recently. Even more importantly, you cannot take a team like Evansville lightly! These winless teams don't usually stay winless forever (see Drake) and if we play like we have this game wrapped up from the get-go, at the very least we will make things very difficult for ourselves. So we need to get off to a great start and keep the pressure on the whole way through ala Missouri St. last weekend.
Nah...just havin some fun at MY expense.![]()
We have had a tendency to play down to our competition FOREVER. E-ville gave ISU all they could handle at their place last week. Come out like you did tonight and we cruise by 15, but look past them to CU and look out.
I just don't see this team looking past anyone. IF we were playing real good ALL season and hadn't lost those home games...perhaps......I think we will be focused. JMHO.
I know I will be.....![]()
I hope you realize that you have to keep doing this until we lose again.![]()
I always tell my players....the next game is the most important game on the schedule....why?...Because it is the next game!
I agree, the very next game is the one to focus on and make it the biggest challenge
I want to personally give a loud shout out and thank you to Kirk Wessler for this scathing blog that ripped into the Braves...
I totally disagreed with everything he said, and I think he was unfair and cruel, but...
it had the desired effect...it motivated the Braves and they are playing much, much better!
