Great win on the road with a fantastic effort by SM and WE. Where were AW, TB, CR ?? Impressive we could win on the road with such poor production from those three....

Great win It wasn't pretty at times but showed alot of guts and will to win. Letd keep it going.Nice win with not much help from AW or CR. Alot of help from everyone else.

BU beats SIU 57-55!
Great defensive effort by BU.
A great win by BU as they win their first in Carbondale since 2001! A few more made FT's and we win this game a little more easily, but agreed that the defensive effort was the big key to the win. And this is against a team that changed their philosophy this year toward a more offensive team. So the key for us is to continue to play that great defense which will help us overcome a bad offensive night anytime!
Yeah, those two need to refocus, especially CR. He has not had the greatest of years so far, but hopefully as long as the team keeps winning games, maybe he can eventually get his game together too.

3 straight league games of holding opponents in the 50's...and 2 of those were on the road...that will win you some games folks!

Just an absolutely unreal 180 defensively by the braves. I'd love to know the last time a team went from giving up 85 avg to 55 avg in 6 game span.incredible, and I think the team is believing it can win if it plays this way night in and night out. Now let's defend our home court and put the abyss behind us for good!

Anyone else think that the difference in our season is essentially that SM is playing like he has in previous years over the last 3-4 games. I think Sammy's finally healthy! He's back to being a decent defender and a big plus on O. Keep it up Braves... Great to fight through off games for AW and CR. TB played hard, made two huge mistakes, and kinda screwed up the whole game-- I think we forget he's a sophomore because he's so good.

Nail meet hammer.....our confidence is rising. Thats why I said this game was HUGE in JL's tenure.

Long ways to go. As good as the last week has been, we're still only a .500 team. Let's revisit this at the end of February.

I agree, but some people gave up on this team too early.
There were still some lapses tonight where we looked awful. Bad shots, dumb fouls, crazy turnovers at the end. But those things are becoming less common.
They are much improved, and for all of the people that wanted to blame all of the bad on Les, they would be unfair if they did not give him some credit for the good. It's an age old illusion, much worse at the lower levels like high school: the coach gets the credit for the losses, the players get the credit for the wins. A bit unfair, I like to see both get credit for both.
