MVC Parity

Can anyone make an argument the MVC better with 8 teams bunched up in the middle like this year? I know it makes for better conference play but I don't see much benefit beyond that. UNI is the only team giving the MVC a good name right now nationally, but without another 2 teams knocking on their heels, we're entrenching ourselves as true mid-majors. Can anything help this besides someone from the middle of the pack taking the MVCT so we get back to being a 2-bid league?

There wouldn't be as much of a problem if the teams in the conf. that are bunched up had great non-conf. against good teams, but given ISU is still near the top and played nobody and Wichita St.'s only big win was against Texas Tech, thats why we are having this conversation.

EXACTLY! The commish needs to do something about this because this horrendous scheduling in no way has benefited the league. IMO it will hurt the overall revenue of the Valley. The league should financially penalize schools the chose to schedule a SOS below 150. ISU's schedule is in effect taking money from BU's coffer.
