Wow- BU loses 68-65

Maybe we just aren't that good.....

Honestly I think our style isn't that good. Really no excuse with the level of talent we have on this team. We've lost a few player to injury but let's be realistic. DSE only averages about 10ppg. He shouldn't be the difference between the level we should be on and the level that we were at tonight.

I can't believe Bradley just lost to Loyola. Loyola didn't have anything special on the inside or outside. It just looked like the players didn't care to be there. They gave away so many possessions. The talent is there.

Anybody have the breakdown on both teams points in the paint and how many 3's we shot/made?

We were great from the 3 point line (10/19). I don't agree with us being unprepapred, we looked good in the first half. But this is unexcusable. DSE and Dodie being out shouldn't matter in this game. I'm p@ssed. BU looks like the 5th team in the valley at best. Ugh.

Same things over and over....get up 12 twice then slow it down, get stuck on 50 pts for what seemed like 3 to 5 minutes and miss FT's and at least 6 lay-ups......MK should not have come out till he missed a shot during that hot streak......sat on the bench way too-long and newver got it back! MK should also have been in the rotation early in the 2nd half while he was feeling it instead of riding the pine! Bad game by all the centers tonight and not a very good coached game IMO! This game should not have even been close at the end...give Loyola credit....they made their FT's and that can keep you in a game and win it ! >wink>

I know in the first half we were 8 for 11 on 3 pointers. Once it was clear they weren't falling for us anymore we went back to that weave thing where it seemed to take us down to 6 seconds on the shot clock every time and then had to take a bad shot....that was one aspect of the downfall...the other were free throws. At one point we missed 6 in a row and I think total we made 4 in the 2nd half...just an estimation though.

After reading one of Tornado's posts I believe his average is less than 5 points per game

We let another slip away.

couple of things...we made a three in the second half and the crowd started to get into it and JL called timeout....now I haven't understood those all year but I really didn't tonite....we need the momentum and it was sucked out right then

Secondly why wouldn't we guard the inbound...they can't run the baseline with 2.5 they have to make a fairly long pass and we gave the pass to them...I don't get it.

Tonight I thought we got outcoached...particularly in the second half

Why would SS be in the game with 30 seconds left? Egolf only had 4 fouls, I'm confused with how we would get an offensive rebound with Singh underneath. It's time to figure out a rotation and be able to coach at the end of a game.

Anybody else know why Sam Singh was in the game for the last three minutes?

Also, such a disgusting loss, but I don't want to play Loyola again while they're coached by this guy. Nothing to do with the they might beat us so we don't want to play them thing, but that was a very dirty team-- dirty consistently enough that I think it's coached. Playing them doesn't gain you anything, so I'd rather play a team that plays a clean game.

BU Loses

BU Loses

Shooting 50% from free throws + being out boarded by 14, 9 on offensive boards= L.
Total loss of concentration and EFFORT!

CR made two bad fouls at the end and TB just wasn't there tonight....

that second half was just miserable period

I keep going over it to try to come up with something good. Best I can manage is Milos seems like he'll be a nice player. Off to bed. Had enough-- very disgusted.

The word your looking for is SOFT:!::!::evil:

You are correct. There's something missing with this group.

How does Bradley not call a timeout during the big drought and run a play for Taylor Brown? One of Jim Les' biggest assets is calling plays after a timeout and it seemed like they wouldn't call one. If Taylor Brown gets involved, BU wins the game.

TB didn't look good tonite at all IMO.....but then nobody looked good in the second half

I couldn't agree with you more. That was by far the WORST case of a rotation I have EVER seen. I wish someone could explain Jim's use of MK. This just makes make sick. Please someone spin this so I can understand it. IS THE SEAT GETTING HOT DR> CROSS???
I personally enjoyed Milos's 4 baskets in a row and then a quick pull. I guess he was taking too many of the golden boys' points???

Maybe in the first half 8-11 but only 2-8 in the second half! We look good when the 3's (bombs) are falling! NO inside/ outside game at all:evil:
