Loyola had to come from behind to just edge winless Holy Cross, going only 3 players deep from the bench despite significant foul trouble..
...they have 16 players on the roster...and only 8 even play a minute?

Loyola used to be a respectable mid-major team, but they've fallen on hard times.
They barely draw 2000 at home, and had crowds of 1200 last year even for conference games!
And they don't have one rostered kid from Chicago and only two barely familiar kids from the entire state of Illinois.
Looking at their stats, Loyola doesn't have many good shooters...
the team's 2-pt FG shooting pct is only 42-119 (35%) ! their 3-pt shooting is better..maybe they should shoot more from way outside!

Loyola will never be able to compete playing in the gym they currently play in. There are HS gyms better than the Gentile Center.
