DSE is going to be very very good.
Bradley has a lot of work to do.
I was pleased with the shooting.
This team is better than last year's. They just need to start playing like it.

Agreed. With AW back we can shoot the basketball. We just need better rebounding and TB back.

Well, we get Brown back but now lose a great outside shooter for the season. Brown will solve most of our inside D and rebounding issues, now lets hope that DSE or someone steps up with the lost outside shooting.
Singh & Egolf were just killed on the boards tonight, this would of been an easy 15 to 20 point win had Brown been in there and racked up his 8-12 boards a game. Probably would of solved the layup drill that Idaho State was running on us all game long. Probably 80% of their points were within 4 to 5 feet of the hoop & layups.
Still gotta work on the FT's, missed another 8 tonight out of 25 attempts.
Alright, everyone, lets not go overboard with this close loss, they have a whole week to work DSE into a main role and Brown comes back in for the boards & post D. Lets see how they do against Wofford, who gave Pitt a close game.

Oh I forgot, SOLVE THE DANG MOVING SCREEN VIOLATIONS!!!! Half of our turnovers were moving screens.

This wasn't pretty but I'm optimistic. If the team progresses like it should I like our chances come conference time. Everything is rough around the edges right now but the potential is definitely there.

Losing Dodie is a huge bummer, on the bright side DSE looked great tonight.

Man i'm forgetful tonight LOL, does anyone know what section those dang kids sit in that scream while were shooting the FT's? I heard them tonight and heard them during the radio broadcast of the Lewis home game. It sounded like they were in the lower bowl in the mid section behind our bench. I'm not sure about the players, but they were seriously a distraction.

While the moving screens continue to perplex me ONE that SS got in the 2nd half was an absolute joke. It was directly in front of me and he was set. PERIOD. It wasn't even close and the ref that called it was out of position to see it.

Observations from tonight....
DSE looked great
Funny how we redshirt JP, don't play sticks, and the other two guys are totally ineffective. Our post situation is a mess.
Milos looked lost
Dodie kept us in the game first half
Paul Herzog - quit trying to be funny
Band - Great job
Softball team honored at half, great job girls, but the Pres looked ridiculous out there with her exaggerated over-cheering
Crowd - Small, quiet
My seat is still broken, and the speaker pointing at my section is still blown.

I agree, but we can't count on that or we're gonna end up with a .500 record, if not worse. There has to be more of an emphasis on our inside play as scary as that is considering we don't have a dominating post presence at either end of the floor.
The game was just ok to me....
Their guards were good and seemed like they could shoot over ours whenever they wanted. Finally late in the first half AW did the same thing..
I hope TB does what everyone says or rebounding is going to be huge problem all year. I hate to hang my hat on the fact we have one rebounder with TB
There were stretches where neither team played very good defense either.
DSE played great and seems to be very deceptive on his way to the basket....he's not cat quick but has some long strides on the way to the rim and stays in the air forever....
SM hit some huge shots late....that's what you need from your leader
