Note that one of DePaul's incoming recruits, freshman Tony Freeland, a 6'6" forward from Los Angeles, hs not been cleared by the NCAA and will not be enrolling this fall. They added 4 walkons, three will be freshmen who aren't likely to play for them this season. One is a transfer from SEMO, Jimmy Drew, who will have 1 year of eligibility left, but who will have to sit out this year per transfer rules. Drew, who missed last season for SEMO with a foot injury, was kicked off the team after last season for a DUI incident.

The lost their leading scorer from last season, Dar Tucker, who chose to enter the NBA draft (he was not drafted) and did not return to DePaul. Also, 2 other starters graduated- Matija Poscic and Jabari Currie.
So they will return 2 starters, guard Will Walker (14.6 ppg), and forward Mac Koshwal (12.2 ppg and 9.6 rpg).
Others who may be in the mix for a starting position and playing time are:
Jeremiah Kelly- a sophomore from boys to Men Academy who averaged 4.3 ppg in 23.6 minutes per game.
Devin Hill- a 6'9" forward and a former Bradley recruit who will also be a sophomore. He averaged 3.1 ppg and 3.2 rpg in 17.5 mpg.
Mike Bizoukas- a 6'1" guard who renigged on his commitment to Northern Iowa and switched to dePaul. He is a sophomore who didn't play much last year (2.0 ppg in 15 mpg). He will likely be a reserve again this season.
Mike Stovall- a 6'5" forward, junior college transfer who will add some scoring. He is originally from Chicago Marshall HS. With Tony Freeland not qualifying, Stovall is the only new scholarship player for DePaul this fall.
Mario Stula- a 6'7" junior wing player from Croatia, who has the reputation as a good shooter, but who only averaged 1.7 ppg last season in 9.8 mpg, and shot just 25.9% from the field and 27% from three.
Eric Wallace- a 6'6", 215 lb. forward who transferred from Ohio State and sat out last season at DePaul.
A couple of other players, 6'11" Krys Faber, and 7'2"Kene Obi seem more like long-term projects and are not likely to contribute a lot this season.
It could be a long season for DePaul. They will likely be picked to finish 16th in the 16-team Big East. Last season they finished dead last at 0-18 in the league.
