2008 Bradley recruit Larry Anderson chose Dan Monson's Long Beach State over Bradley last spring, because he wanted to stay closer to home (he was from long Beach, CA).

Today, class of 2009 junior college player Tristan Wilson committed to Long Beach State.

Tristan Wilson is a sophomore at Yuba College, and was recruited by Bradley and Iowa State, as well as a couple California schools. But he preferred to stay closer to his home. And I had heard that Bradley was no longer recruiting him because he wasn't interested in playing in the midwest.--

Wilson averaged 18.8 ppg and 6.3 rebounds last season for the Yuba College 49ers. Coach Cornelius has said he is the most talented player he has ever had play for him.
He was just rated the #16 junior college player in the country by Jucojunction.com--

I know he is a good player but I am hoping for another freshman recruit so that BU can have 3 in the 2009-2010 class; it just keeps the program more stable.

Some injury problems for a couple ex-BU recruits at Long Beach State.-
Larry Anderson, who was a 1st team All Big West player last year as a freshman, tore a ligament in his hand over the summer, had surgery, and just got his cast off last week. Long Beach State coach Dan Monson hopes he will be ready for the start of their season.

Incoming junior Tristan Wilson, who Bradley also recruited from Yuba College, was expected to play a lot and maybe start for LBSU this year. However, he had surgery 2 weeks ago for a fracture, and is expected to be out until at least after January 1st.
