Bruce Weber talks about how to "shut up the ESPN talking heads"

NCAA President Myles Brand's dead...but within days, Bobby knight appears publicly and takes a huge, unwarranted rip at the NCAA just to make sure he gets the last word in on Brand..

At the dedication of his latest pet project, a renovated hockey rink that's be used for sports ..he says this...
"During Tuesday's unveiling of the plan for Bob Knight's Fieldhouse,
he made clear the NCAA won't share the marquee.

Responding to a question, Knight said "the roof would leak,
there would be no locks on the doors and the court
would only have one basket" if the NCAA was involved."

Might have been too early after MB's death to bash the NCAA, but IMO he was telling it like it is. How often have we complained about the treatment BU has received from the NCAA?

Brucie doesn't seem to mind that the ESPN Game Day crew is coming to Illinois, but he can't seem to handle the fact that the ESPN "talking heads" are ripping the B-10 for ALWAYS losing to the ACC. This seems a little "two-faced" to me. All Brucie, Illinois, and the B-10 need to do is "put up or SHUT UP"! Beat the ACC and all the ESPN "slights" should stop. Simple as that!

exactly he didnt say if brand was involved, the ncaa deserves to be bashed when it does...i think this is more of a case of someone not liking bobby...more then a few threads have been made ripping on the ncaa since brand died.

NCAA basketball is incredibly popular and growing dramatically..
it is immensely profitable and the benefits go to all the members...
So if Bobby has a lot of negative feelings and antipathy for the NCAA, and if he believes that their mere involvement means the court would have had only one basket...then Bobby is a total joke...
During all his years, he was given a pass zillions of times by the NCAA. Bobby should have been banned years ago for his choking, chair throwing, and foulmouthed screaming tantrums.
Even his worshipful, adoring Hoosier fans finally grew a bit tired of his act...
Heck....to show how good Hooiser fans are at picking a god - just look at how they worshipped even Kelvin Sampson as long as he could deliver the 5-Stars and the W's.
