This year

You're right Dogs. Poor choice of words on my part. I certainly didn't mean to call anyone a "fool" on here. So, I apologize.

I just think we take Sam for granted more than any other player we have. I really don't know the reason for that, it just seems that way to me anyway. As good as he's been for us, he's got room for improvement in his game, and I'll think we'll see that over the next 2+ years. He has too good of a work ethic and pride not to continue to get better, in my opinion.

Sorry...I wasn't "calling you out". Understand you didn't direct it at the poster. Other then that..I agree. SM isn't the most gifted athletically but he was better as a soph then as a freshamn and I expect the same improvements THIS year.
 
This year

You can statistically analyze Sammy all you want.
Sammy has the heart of a Lion and the soul of a Warrior and those are tangible and consistant assets.
Sammy was, is, and will be in the lineup for roughly 28-30 minutes a game.. He's a Leader.
Go Sammy! Wish we had more guys with your "assets".
