Player Outlook: Ryan Phillips

Ryan's playing time may not be anymore this year than what it has been in the past three years. By NO WAY this should over look his dedication, desire, commitment and hard work he and all the role players put in for the success of the team. This is Ryan's 4th year at BU and as a walk-on for the team. I think Ryan could of picked a Div II school to attend and that had a basketball program that he could of played. He has gained alot by attending BU and by being a member of the team. All of which will NO Doubt help him in life! He has been a real credit to BU. Good Luck young man:!:

Thanks, OOB, and I agree. Ryan is a Peoria kid who grew up as a fan of Bradley. He has gotten to play his career as an important part of Bradley's success the last 3 years. And furthermore, he is a bright kid, and good student who will graduate with a degree from BU.
The only thing I would correct is that Ryan's freshman year was 2006-2007, so he was not a member of that 2005-2006 Sweet 16 team.
Here is that 05-06 roster-

Thanks for correcting me! I changed it. When your OLD, the mind plays tricks on you and is the first to go. Just ask my wife:roll:

all walk-ons, despite the reality of it...constantly dream of and long for the chance to play and prove themselves...
and even hope their turn will come so they can get the playing time the dream of...

This Brazil trip will be some satisfaction for the walk-on guys, as only 7 scholarship players are going so I know they'll have to use some of the walk-ons!
