First Pick-em for the starting lineup

95 days until the first day of basketball practice...

less than 4 months until the first game...

let's get started with the first pick-em...here are the specifics...

PICK THE BRAVES' STARTING LINEUP IN THEIR FIRST PUBLIC EXHIBITION GAME.
recall that only two people won last year (really only one since one of the winners had submitted two guesses)
and nobody won the year before as nobody foresaw the installation of the 4-guard lineup.

If more than one poster gets the lineup correct, then the FIRST guess will win the grand prize, and the others will get some sort of 2nd prize...that's just to reward those faithful BradleyFans viewers who get in on this first.
Lastly, if nobody gets all five starters correct, we will devise some system to determine who is closest among the guesses....
So..it is to your advantage to guess first and early....and if you wait and want to guess a combination that's already been guessed, go ahead, as you will still win a prize if you win.

The FIRST exhibition game generally is right at the beginning of November, so guesses will end at midnight, October 30.
and since the time of your post/guess is the tiebreaker....we won't have an official tiebreaker....but as a bonus that can increase your prize shoudl you win....try guessing the final score for Bradley in the first exhibition.

Here's my guess.....SM, EM, AW, SS, CR and BU will whallop Lewis 84-64

Starting lineup

Starting lineup

Eddren, Sammy, Andrew, I hope!, Chris, and Will.

82- 64 if Exhibition game. If BYU is considered the opener. Then BYU 76 Bradley 69.

I know I said in another thread that I wasn't going to pick a starting five.... they are all good enough to be starters in my mind and will see a lot of minutes. But I'll go for it:

1. CR, 2. WE, 3. JP, 4. SS, 5. AT

And play volleyball over the summer rather than kickball for something different to do.

The lineup I'd really like to see:

Egan, Miller, Harkness, Rouse, Hunter - the 1963 Loyola Ramblers NCAA Championship team! Which is still my all time favorite team, I will never forget those names. You would have to have been a young kid listening to Red Rush on the radio to understand. Loyola played the very first D1 game at Carver Arena with us and we've played many times since then and will again this year at home. Loyola has something we have never had, a NCAA championship. I think they are still the only school in our state to ever win a NCAA basketball championship. Bradley and Illinois have both come very close to doing it.

;-)

Forgot to put in the score - I'll go with 105 to 98.

SM...EM...CR....JP...WE......time to "GO-BIG!"
BU 78

I really hope its EM...DD...AW (we really missed the 3 pt shot last year)...TB...WE......that would leave a strong-bench!

Eddren McCain
Sam Maniscalco
Dodie Dunson
Chris Roberts
Sam Singh

BU - 79
Quincy - 64

I would love to see a lineup with 2 bigs, but I don't think it will happen to begin with.
