2011 rankings from the Chicago Sun Times

Hayden Hoerdemann is a very good H.S. player, but #14... come on. He's a 6-1 off guard. I dunno, maybe I'm lost.
 
I suspect his high ranking comes from rumors that Illinois coach Bruce Weber has shown interest in him. Overall, I think this writer shows a large bias toward the Chicago area kids. There are very few downstate kids on the entire list, and some pretty obscure Chicago area kids.
