ICC's Wendell Mardis signed to play Division I ball at Alabama State.
They have one of the largest incoming recruiting classes I have ever seen.
Alabama State's coach Lewis Jackson has 10 new players for his program next fall.

What I found interesting is one of the other players signed by Alabama State is
7'1", 260-pound center Grlenntys Kickingstallionsims Jr., better known as "Chief."
He is a transfer from Stetson, where he played for 2 seasons and averaged 1.9 ppg and 1.6 rpg.--

That has to be one of the best college basketball names around, and at 19 letters
is the longest name I think I'v seen.
I'd like to see that name fit on the back of a jersey! :lol:
Apparently when he played at Stetson, his jersey simply read "Chief".
