49 Pacific @ 59 Bradley - Postgame

Well, that was a really ugly game. Both teams were incredibly sloppy but we brought home yet another win. Gotta love it. Title game on Tuesday!

Yeah, we looked really bad. A lot of unforced errors, surprisingly Maniscalco turned the ball over quite a bit. Probably did celebrate too much from Monday's win.

Oh well, let's win Tuesday to cap-off Theron and David's careers at Bradley.

And Brian's, since he's been here four years! ;-)

Wow! Pacific was REALLY bad! As Dave Snell said in the first half: "We should be up by at least 10 on these guys".

This game was VERY painful to watch. Almost embarrassing :( . We should have beat this team by 20+ points. But.............. a win's a win! :) And we're on to the championship! :) Let's hope we can finally put together a good game and a BIG win to close out this season.

Welcome Back Dodie! :D I'll take the Win in a turn-over fest and look forward to the Championship game Tues night!

Some very sloppy play, but our guys had a lot of fire... A reasonable side effect of Monday's emotional win... We out hustled them, and it didn't hurt that their best shooter (Troyer) was 1-10 or 1-11.. It reminded me a little bit of JC's game 3 against Tulsa last year.. Good shooter, just out of gas. The kid (like JC) deserves a lot of respect, but without his shots off screens, they didn't really have much of a chance.

Already scouting CAAzone ;)

Pretty much nothing but good stuff to say of us so far. The CAA has a good set of fans.

Going into this tournament, it felt like Bradley, ODU and then everyone else. One game away from that holding.

We probably have a trip from California on a quick turnaround to thank for that...and probably the game...

Oh well. :D

We should have won by 15 or so just for the fact they traveled all day yesterday and played Monday night as well. Not easy for them.
Pacific got several easy shots and luckily missed a few of those as well.
#2 couldn't make anything hitting the back of the rim all night even when wide open.
Nice to get the clunker out of the way, rest up and win Tuesday.

I think Bradley's defense had a lot to do with Pacific looking bad.
Anthony Brown, their starting center and 3rd leading scorer, had zero points.
Their leading scorer, LeDuc- 11. ppg, had just 8 points.
There aren't any stats posted yet, but I think Troyer, their best shooter, was something like 1 for 11 from the floor!
Nobody on Pacific stepped up and had a good game for them.
Yes, Bradley played poorly, but the superior athleticism, and quickness, enabled Bradley to control the game, and maintain the lead for all but a couple minutes early.

I didn't think the defense was all that great early, it seemed to get better as the game went on but that might have been a result of them getting tired.
Troyer had plenty of open looks but couldn't make anything and they did miss some easy shots in the paint.
Brown seem to take himself out of the game with poor defense and getting into fould truble and never was a factor.....

I'm just glad we played this at home....it would have been hard to win on the road tonight

I think BU definately was suffering from an emotional hangover. I thought we were a step slow all night but all-in-all we did what we had to do to get the win. Good defense and some timely shooting by Dodie and CR helped pull this one out. A good crowd numbers wise (about 7000 is my guess) but the crowd really never got into it tonight. Looking forward to one last game Tuesday night and winning a championship!! :-D

GO BRAVES!
