We really didn't deserve to win.....

I KNEW you'd look. :) Relax.

I have heard this comment several times...in fact I THOUGHT the same thing....briefly.

After careful consideration...we certainly DID "deserve to win". I understand the premise in this thought/statement but look at what we did.

We took their best shot time and time again, much like a heavyweight bout, and kept getting up to not only answer the bell but get a few shots in of our own.

How many clutch shots (punches) did we throw when we HAD to have em....Sammy several times.....Dodie multiple times.......TW......Singh......leads that were 3-4-5- kept at that differential when not responding coulda pushed it to 7-8-9 late.

Then...after handling their best...we snuck in a few jabs....a flurry of quick hits and then.............................THE BIG ROUND HOUSE FOR THE KNOCKOUT.

TKO baby.....

I say we deserved this win.....without a doubt.
 
Not only did we not deserve that win, but we dont deserve to be playing in any game right now. This is not a real tournament and all BU fans should be ashamed to be cheering a silly win in a made up tournament!;)

I really didn't take the scattered comments as nonsense...I think it was more a compliment to how well the other team looked and played....as I stated I felt the same way...briefly.

We, as you stated, played well also save the slow start. And like I said...answered all their big hits with big hits of our own AND the games biggest and most importaint hit....

I'm just saying they outscored us by 11 to start the game, but we obviously outscored them by 12 the rest of the way. Of course Oakland played a great game and I was very impressed with their team, but to say we didn't deserve to win that game is, in my opinion, an insult to our team!
 
BU stayed with Oakland, and never let the lead get too large. BU shot over 53% for the game. I felt a little sorry for Oakland, but I would not agree that BU didn't deserve to win.

Exactly! I can maybe see that neither team "deserved" to lose that game, because it really was a great game, but I won't be the one to say Bradley didn't deserve to win.
 
Didn't Braves4Life say we'd win by 20? And the rest of us said not a chance? I'd just like to hear a "my bad." Not trying to call you out, but I think we need to be realistic.

I like the guy in the pink shirt far right......his head is tilted sideways in a "oh crap we just lost" kinda expression....then he's airborne with both hands fully extended.

Priceless....

And how about the guy on the left that is "calling" the shot with a half hearted "its good" before hand then, after it goes in, he's got a more defined fully extended version of the same gesture. Great pic for sure...
