FINAL: BU 67, siu 55

This was great game by the Braves which hopefully will translate into two more wins and a trip to the Big Dance! :D I think UNI is definately ripe for the taking tomorrow!
 
Just getting in after a looong day of bball! Man I love coming down here and seeing all of these games!

1st 10 mins of the game......ugly! Some jitters and miscues on D.....the last 30 mins....maybe the best ball we have played all year. I really liked the energy we played with today and the fact that we did not back down from their very physical play.


Speaking of jerks.....during the CU/WSU game, the CU student section was right in front of the remaining BU fans. There were 4 CU students immediately in front of several older BU fans. They were standing the entire game....which I do not have a problem with. These BU fans did not show up until half time...when these students began standing in the 2nd half....the female BU fan asked them to sit. One of the CU fans turned and told her..."These are our f@#*ing seats, we don't have to F@#*ing sit down!" Of course being the calm guy I am........I told him to watch his mouth and he started in on me, even his girlfriend jumped in! Security came and told the guy to watch his mouth! At the end every one of them apologized....except the guy who actually said it!

Also I am guessing about 20-25 CU students were escorted from the section, with 5-10 of them being ejected!!!

yes...many Creighton students were so drunk they couldn't even stand up..
not sure howthey either got booze or sneaked it into the arena, but they were mostly a drunken crowd that kept the security people quite busy.

Well, they did play the evening session. We arrived in the parking deck around 1:00 and ran into a few older illinois state fans that were standing around their open trunk with beers in hand. They were very nice and wished us good luck and we did the same. Then they said something like "ask us around 10:30 how we're doing". We came back to the car after the Bradley game and their trunk was still open along with the backseat doors with them sitting inside the car. I would be very surprised if they didn't still have beers in hand!

It was not a foul that just happened it was intentionally committed, even if the offical called the foul on Singh, Fay instigated and intentially threw Singh.

Sam was just trying to get away. In a fair fight Fay better hope he runs faster because Sam could squish him like a bug if he wanted.
 
Sam Singh is still an underclassman!:D

Let's give him another year to develop and he'll hold his own!

And they have the nerve to talk about the way JL extends games at the end! It was fun to see Lowery foul with about 12 seconds left and his team losing by 10!
