The next game is Bradley at Creighton on Wednesday, 2/11/09, at 7:35 pm. Note the later than usual start time.
The game will be televised by the MVC-TV network, and will be on FoxSportsMidwest, Comcast cable channel 57 in Peoria.

Bradley is 13-11, 7-6 in the MVC. Creighton is 19-6, 9-4 in the MVC.

Maybe it's the optimism in me, but I have a feeling that Bradley will play well tomorrow night at Creighton. I think they can steal a win.

We have not won their under JL and have had some teams that are a lot better, like last years team and could not get it done!! I hope i am wrong!!

Last year's team is not one of the "better" BU teams of late, IMHO.

But overall, I agree. It will definitely be tough. But Creighton is flakey lately... as are we... so it just depends on which teams show up for both teams.

We have not won in Omaha in 11 years and we have had much better teams in he last 11 yers than this years team. Im expecting number 12 tomorrow but hoping for the best
 
We had not won at Missouri State in a while either. And of course its not the same. Who knows, maybe our guys show up and play the game of their lives.

You are probably right. This is the kind of game JL actually wins. Team's down and out because we don't show up half the time. Now tonight we actually might. If only we could get that intensity every single out.

And we have played well out there under JL, just not well enough to win.
 
I don't have much to say except GO BU, so I'll point out a statistical anomaly for Creighton:

Kaleb Korver has made 31 3-point FG and 0 FG from 2-point range. In fact, he has only shot 3 times from 2-point range. Korver averages over 16 mins/game! I wonder how we should guard him?

I have a funny feeling they might win this game too. We don't know which Creighton team will show up from game to game, and there is still quite a lot to play for this season. Second place is not out of the question, but it has to start tonight. After tonight, four of our next five games are very winnable, and even that fifth game at Evansville is winnable. So tonight is critical, and hopefully the players won't write this off as an automatic loss. Because if they do, they will play like they have no shot and get clobbered. So let's hope for a career night from our team!
 
In order to win we are going to have to shoot the ball a lot better and everyone needs to contribute , we must make at least 9 3 pointers and score at least 74 points to have a chance of winning.
 
My job requires me to speak to people all over, I talked to a guy today from Omaha we of course ended up talking about the CU/BU game and he told me that P'Allen has a slight tear in his knee that has never been disclosed.

Not sure how true his statement was but he sounded very knowledgeable about CU basketball. Might be interesting to see how P'Allen plays.

I think BU will have to play better tonight then they have all year to get a victory. BU's confidence is way down, JAy's is way up. Jay's also can see the rear bumper of UNI now. I think Dana will have them very ready to win at home. I am afraid of a blowout, but hope BU improves from the Drake game. The team looked lost at Drake.
 
Watching the pre-game on FSN...they just stated that CU is #10 in D1 attendance! Thats pretty awesome.....I did not know that! :D
