BU soccer adds asst coach...

Why would you think it isn't a good move to fill a position on the staff that was open for the last 5 months with one of the more successful and well known soccer coaches in the country, someone with extensive recruiting connections throughout the eastern US, someone who has a wealth of coaching experience, and someone who Coach Derose has already established a great working relationship?

Just wondering why someone would leave a head coaching postion at one of the top universities in the country, great location and A school that is building a brand new stadium and sports complex.

Despite all his success at Richmond, they had an off year last year (3-12-3), and the fans and boosters turned on the coach and wanted him out. It is really amazing that considering all he did at Richmond, how he was treated this past season.

Here is a thread from the Richmond soccer fan message board that started a couple months ago and follows through his resignation. Their fans are viscious-

Their loss is our gain as far as I'm concerned. I think part of the reason Bradley had some struggles this year was directly related to not having a full coaching staff. It had to make it hard to integrate all those new players into the system when the staff is shorthanded.

I wonder why if he was so successful and talented why he did not apply for other head coaching positions. Richmonds RPI continued to drop year after year, one bad year does not cause a coach to leave
Well hoping he is a positive addition to BU
