Six stitches. And as well as the Illini played, looks like they're going down. Michigan is pretty good. Beilein will have success there, he's a very good coach.
Road wins are going to be tough to come by in the B10, and this league will be a very competitive one. Illinois played well, but didn't come up with the defensive stops they needed, with plenty of credit to a good Michigan team. Illinois didn't seem to shoot quite as well as they did in the first half either, and Michigan came out focused and executed well, something past Michigan teams have not been able to do.

Zach Novak would have had a Jeremy Crouch-like career at BU. I would have loved to have him. He just took a nasty shot to the eye and was bleeding all over the place. I'm guessing he's going to require stitches.
Both teams had only 3 turnovers in the first half. It was a well played, fast tempo game.

Illinois is shooting very well.
Former BU recruit, freshman Zach Novak has played a lot off the bench for Michigan, and his shooting is helping to keep Michigan in the game. He is 4-5 from the floor, and 3-4 from three for a team-leading 11 points so far.
