2 MVC teams playing Tuesday, 12/9

I doubt anyone is watching due to the game being on ESPNU, but this Drake-ISUorange game is excellent. Drake just completed a comeback from being down 60-50, and now lead 64-62 with just under 3 mins remaining. Should be a great finish...

Drake has missed point blank wide open layups on back to back possessions, and still lead 64-62, but ISUorange has the ball with under :50

I'm watching bro.

Looking good for The Drake.

1.2 secs left, up 2 with one ft in the hopper for The Drake.

Hang on fellas!

FINAL
Drake 66
ISUorange 63

Gutty 2nd half performance by Drake...they are officially my Valley darkhorse this year. ISU isn't a great team, but they play in a good arena with a great/hostile crowd, and are a BCS team.

Great win by Drake! They will be better than expected again this year.

It's about time the Valley gets a solid win. Other than Missouri St over Auburn, and some close losses by Wichita St, the Valley has not had much to celebrate this year, though they are currently 7th in the current realtimerpi rankings! Go figure!

A BU win against undefeated Butler tomorrow night would be huge for both the Valley and BU!

Go Braves!

Missouri State lost to Auburn, but beat Arkansas. I'm still not convinced that they're so much better than everyone thought they'd be. Maybe I'll change my mind after tomorrow night, but I doubt it.

Iowa's freshman Anthony Tucker was immediately suspended by Iowa coach Lickliter.
None of this crap about letting the system play itself out or dealing with the discipline internally without any suspension as some MVC coaches do.
In fact, one MVC player was found by police passed out behind the wheel of a car that was running, and then later that same guy was arrested for driving on the suspended license, and yet he still was never disciplined.
I admire the Iowa response, as the facts were quite clear from the beginning, that Tucker was drinking at the bar and was found outside unconscious, and taken by ambulance to the hospital.
He should be fine, and will have likely learned a valuable lesson when he is reinstated, but I admire that Lickliter took an immediate and solid stance on this behavior.
The cases at Iowa State (Michael Taylor), UNI (O'Rear), ISU (Sampay), and even SIU (Tatum, Foster, etc.) showed that some coaches just ignore the arrests until the press calls them out on it, and then some still never discipline their players

More news on Iowa's Anthony Tucker
He was charged with public intoxication and is still indefinitely suspended
