Anybody got a score?

Sad how I go to Yahoo's scoreboard and the MVC has 5 games. Scores are posted except for Bradley's and Mo St's - just says start time which was almost 2 hours ago.
 
Lady Braves win 71-69

Bad FT% (and 3pt %)

Lund starts and scores 16 while Rogers comes off the bench and leads the Lady Braves scoring with 22

Looks like BU had some troubles in 1st half when they were down by 10 points twice, but the rebounding certainly helped in the 2nd half. Any win is good for the women though after several of the past seasons. Also, for live scoring, I would recommend ESPN over Yahoo. Yahoo is slow on several occasions while ESPN has been top notch most of the time.

I was there last night and I must say that I was really impressed with how the Braves played. They ran the floor well, especially the bigs and hit the glass hard. There were some defensive lapses in the first half that contributed to the deficit, but it looks like this team will be able to make some noise in the Valley for the first time in a few years.
 
I think they will be better. They have always lacked rebounding and outside shooting in Paula's previous teams, as well as being one of the least athletic teams in the MVC every year. This team has improved a lot in all those areas.
The deficiencies I saw in watching the Loyola game, poor passing, turnovers, and defensive lapses, are all correctable, and I think they will get better as they play together more.
