I like having DC off the bench...still getting a ton of minutes...just having Singh start.
takes a lot of pressure off of him and possibly takes away some early game fouls...as it seems DC is going to be in foul trouble alot (based off of first 2)

The biggest problem with this theory (but does it really matter in the grand scheme of the game?), do we want to go back to TW jumping for the tip-off?

This would be my lineup based on what I have seen so far( a healthy A.Warren)
Dunson
Warren
Singh
Wilson
Brown or Roberts as both have played well.

Collins and Maniscalco get a lot of minutes and could start once they begin contributing more.(which I believe they are capable of doing)

The only problem I have with McCain is he needs to be more of a threat to score from the outside as he defends, rebounds and brings the ball up the court well.
Norris appears to be a good shooter but has had turnover problems.
Thompson and Egolf need to prove they can contribute when given the chance.

ur right, 21 and 9 AND 13 and 11 are not 25 and 15. i'm assuming most don't expect patrick o'bryant out of DC this year.

those are his numbers for the two exhibitions which were against smaller big men. also, if you look at some of last year's stats he's notably better against teams that are weak down low.

i think DC will surely start and he will have a GREAT game.

You can't be serious counting games against D2 & D3 games. I don't expect much out of DC this year even against smaller teams. Now if we were playing a D2 or D3 schedule, maybe. But, we don't. MORE COWBELL...

We also don't have a healthy AW giving us consistent minutes, but everyone seems to think a whole lot will get better when we do. I'll take a wait and see approach since he hasn't even been on the floor with this group of players against a D1 opponent.

But at least AW has a much longer history of success. STILL MORE COWBELL...

Agreed...and obviously they haven't been given that chance yet...Not many guys will produce much given less than 5 min per game...

My question is whether they will be given a chance to play?

I understand the concept of earning time through practice, but most coaches also have the concept of losing time through games...I just hope the coach is weighing both options and he's leaning 60/40 towards games...

I know you have to practice, BUT there are just certain guys that don't kick it up to full speed until game time...just look at Dodie...did anyone think he'd do what he's done now given the first two exhibition games?

Along w/ that...another example, Michael Jordan...yes he practiced a lot, but going back to his Carolina days, you could ask Dean Smith and he'd tell you that MJ didn't outshine guys in practice, but once the crowd filed into the arena and the bright lights were on, he turned it on.

So as of this moment, you the BradleyFans.com pollsters have in as starters for MONDAY'Sgame...lol...sorry about that one guys...

Theron Wilson
Dodie Dunson
Chris Roberts
David Collins

AND

Andrew Warren by 1 vote over Sam Maniscalco

I disagree, read Scout41## assesment. He points out the DC thrives on confidence. Starting helps him with that. I say let him start. SS has no problem coming off the bench, so let's do that. DC I think will be great against OK teams but OK against good to great teams. I feel like DC gets intimidated. This is pretty frustrating to me, but I still think he should start, and I think it will keep us from losing games that we shouldn't.
I totally agree with you in regards to DC and SS. I'd start DC and if he runs into foul trouble SS has been an able if not better replacement at times then DC. I was in the car Yesterday listening to the game and when DC got his 4th just barely into the second half I told my wife I hope Jimmy leaves him in. He hadn't done anything up to that point and he really seemed to come alive. Not sure what motivates players but playing with 4 fouls sure helped DC.

Leave it the same. If Warren is available, CR comes off the bench.

Sure SamMan and DC haven't played their best and McCain and Singh have logged some good minutes - but I wouldn't change things just yet...

I see a few posts where SM is out of the starting line-up. He's out of mine too. I put SS in but I think Brown could start too depending on the team we're playing.

How are people NOT starting SM???

He's our PG this year. Edge isn't ready to start PG. Dodie is a better 2 IMO.

SM starting is a key to a game. just because of a slow start doesn't mean bench him...he needs to remember to 1) not be Ruff and 2) not try to accommodate for not having ruff.

thats my favorite line-up...SM starting is key to a victory
He should start 100% of the time because of:
a) talent
b) leadership
c) building him as our PG for the next 2 years

At least you didn't mention AW anywhere in that post!
