Another Houston connection--

Tim Frazier is a 6'2", 160 pound junior (class of 2009) combo guard at Houston Strake Jesuit High School. He also plays on the Houston Elite AAU team, the same program that Anthony Thompson, Chris Roberts, and Eddren McCain have played on. He averaged 11 points and 4 assists as a sophomore, but he is expected to "blow up" this season.
He has 3 offers-- Bradley, New Mexico State, and Kansas State. But he is being recruited by some other programs like Kansas, Rice, SMU, Santa Clara, and South Alabama.

Rivals has him as a 3-star recruit.

Mike-
You need to spend more time here on the recruiting board!:)
We definitely haven't dropped the ball on Tim Frazier.
We had this thread up back in October '07--
http://www.bradleyfans.com/vb/showthread.php?t=5382

Tim Frazier is a 3-star, 2009 combo guard at a small parochial school in Houston (Strake Jesuit College Prep). He is having a great junior year and starting to get attention from major schools. He plays for the same Houston based AAU team as Anthony Thompson and Eddren McCain did.
Bradley has been recruiting him since at least last summer, and are very high on him.
The new Scout article from 2/21 had more to say about him--
http://scouthoops.scout.com/2/730820.html

Tim Frazier put together a solid junior season and he's hoping to make a run in the playoffs. Scout.com caught up with the talented to guard to get the scoop on his play and recruitment.Led by Frazier and Notre Dame commit Joey Brooks, Strake Jesuit is 27-6 and looking to do some damage in the playoffs. Their next match up is Friday against Chavez. Individually, Frazier is having a great season. He’s averaging 15 points a game and has raised his stock among college coaches.
Frazier said he’s hearing the most from Santa Clara, New Mexico State, Kansas State and Bradley. Hawaii, SMU, Wichita State and Stephen F. Austin are also involved in his recruitment

Here is his profile from Rivals. They report that Bradley, New Mexico State, and Kansas State have offered scholarships.--

In order to make it easier to find the old posts, I will merge the 2 threads on Tim Frazier.

Here is an update on a 3-star guard from Texas that Bradley was recruiting- Tim Frazier.

A new report on Rivals no longer mentions Bradley. But that doesn't always mean much as we have seen before.

Here is what the premium article below says--

Tim Frazier, a 6-foot-2 senior guard from Houston, Texas, said that he is currently hearing from Stephen F. Austin, Santa Clara, Colorado State and the majority of the PAC-10 . . .

Here is another updated article about BU recruit Tim Frazier, who has had some really imprssive performances at AAU and team events this summer.
This is a premium article from TexasHoops.com--
Frazier Off to Hot Start-

Here are a couple clips from the article-
July is the month where some players really explode onto the scene. Given the way things are coming along for Tim Frazier, only the sky may be the limit. The athletic 6-foot-2, 160-pound guard from Strake Jesuit High School in Houston has gotten things going in a huge way so far, and already holding a number of scholarship offers, expect that to increase even more Frazier moves from Denton on to Las Vegas with his Houston Elite AAU squad.

Always regarded as a great athlete, Frazier's abilities at the point have raised an eyebrow or two. In Denton, college coaches were more than impressed with his floor leadership and play and as a result, Frazier's recruitment has skyrocketed.
"I've gotten offers, not in any particular order, from Bradley, TCU, Colorado State, Santa Clara, UTEP, and Stephen F. Austin, and I'm also hearing from schools like Stanford, Cal, Harvard, Cornell, Yale, and Penn State," Frazier said. "I'm still wide open, just waiting until the end of the summer after Las Vegas before I'll sit down and decide where I'll take visits and then go from there."

"The thing that I'm looking for the most is education - that's first and foremost because that will be always something I can fall back on," Frazier said. "After that, I'm looking at the players, and where's the best fit. My ultimate goal is to get to the NCAA Tournament, and after that a national championship. I want to go where I can help the team win."

Tim Frazier is now a 3-star recruit according to Rivals. Here is his profile--

Tim Frazier had a great week in Las Vegas. Bradley is still very interested in the class of 2009 6'2" point guard from Houston Strake Jesuit High School.

In his final day Rivals had this to say about him--
Point guard Tim Frazier had an impressive showing for Houston Elite. He knocked down 21 points on 7-13 shooting from the field while also grabbing an impressive eight rebounds to go along with five assists to three turnovers.

In one earlier game he had 15 assists.

In an article late Saturday, there is this brief clip--
Tim Frazier, PG, Houston Elite ??“ If he came into the event with a point to prove then he made it. Until he ran into John Wall, his defensive intensity and leadership abilities served him well in front of the college recruiters.

Tim Frazier had a great event and his speed and defensive prowess have everyone on full alert. He boasts offers from Bradley, Santa Clara, New Mexico State and Colorado State. ??¦

I think we could afford to play two small (Point) Guards if we were to have a Thompson, Prosser, Egolf front line. Or any line with 6-8 power and shooting forwards instead of a smallish forward. It would give us flexibility to use different guard combinations.

TexasHoops.com has a new article about Tim Frazier (as well as Marshall Henderson and another guard Vertrail Vaughns). It is a premium article--
http://texashoops.rivals.com/

It reports that all the Texas guards made campus visits this past weekend. Marshall Henderson made an official visit to Utah, though he had already visited unofficially back in June, and has since committed to Utah.
Tim Frazier made a visit to Penn State over the weekend, and he says he was impressed. But he says he wants to wait to make a committment. He mentions only 1 other school by name that he is planning to visit- Harvard. Bradley is still listed on his Rivals recruiting profile.--

A premium Scout article talks about Tim Frazier and says he is planning to commit during the early signing period.
He has visited Penn State, and is also considering TCU, Stanford, Harvard, Wichita State, Washington State, San Diego, and Colorado State. Frazier is planning a visit to TCU next.

The Scout article doesn't mention Bradley among the schools he is interested in, and his Scout profile doesn't list Bradley--

His Rivals profile does still list Bradley--
