Creighton visits Bradley at Shea Stadium tonight at 7:00 pm.

Bradley is 1-0-0 in the MVC (6-5-1 overall) after beating Eastern Illinois 3-1 Wednesday.
Creighton is also 1-0-0 in the MVC (9-1-1 overall) after beating Evansville in Omaha 3-2 last Saturday. Bradley is 8-0-2 in their last 10 Missouri Valley Conference games.

If you are looking for something to do tonight, come out and support the Braves!

This thread should be changed to MASSIVE mvc soccer game tonight...

this will tell a lot about how this year will compare to other years and if we can even compete for the top of the Valley...

Creighton is one of the top defensive teams in the country. They are yielding a goals-against average of just 0.36 GPG. In their last game, Evansville scored 2 second half goals against Creighton, and they were the first goals Creighton has given up in 722+ minutes of play, including 6 straight shoutouts. So as good as Bradley can be defensively, they have to have their best game tonight.

i hate to say it, but i'm not sure we have much of a chance against the bluejays tonight. they're awfully good defensively and we're still pretty tentative on the offensive end.

a win isn't completely out of the question, but it would take one hell of a great defensive effort by the braves and a lucky break on offense that leads to a goal. if we win tonight it'll probably be 1-0, because i can't see us scoring more than once against creighton.

having said that, i sure hope i'm completely wrong. GO BRAVES!!!
 
Just got back from the game...

...now I'm not at all very well versed in soccer...but it seemed the officiating was VERY one sided.

This turned into a very phsycial game. Don't get me wrong the Creighton defense was very good - but they got off easy each time there was a scuffle. BU wasn't given the benefit of the doubt at anytime.

The Braves played tough even being a man down for the majority of the second half.
