The first of the really early preseason tours is underway as Nicholls State is touring Australia and playing four games down under.......

They won their first two games against the Kilsyth Cobras (90-85) and the Australian National U20 team (85-76).

Most of the other D-I teams doing foreign preseason tours don't go until at least August...
 
Nicholls State needs to get this early start to prepare their team for the rugged 4-team tournament they are playing in hosted by Illinois State next fall. The tournament features:
Illinois State- RPI 33
Nicholls State- RPI 248
Winston-Salem State- RPI 311
UC-Santa Barbara- RPI 89

Nicholls State has wound up their tour of Australia...........
They played several loosely put together amateur teams, and finished their tour 4-0 with four pretty easy wins
