Final Season's End Poll

They just couldn't do it.... Davidson makes Elite 8 and is the only team besides Memphis to challenge the National Champ (Kansas).... and they just couldn't rank Davidson in the top 8.

LOL!

Same-ole, same-ole..
Didn't we (BU) wind up ranked lower than Kansas and Pitt even though we beat them 2 years ago?

Does anyone publish an end-of-season RPI?

Here is the Final ESPN/USA Today Top 25 poll in 2006,
done AFTER the NCAA tournament. Indeed Bradley finished in the Sweet Sixteen
but ended ranked #24 behind both Kansas & Pitt.
(the AP did not put out a final season poll after the NCAA in 2006)

Does anyone publish an end-of-season RPI?

I have asked Jerry Palm about the RPI calculations going into the post season and his answer was that the RPI is a tool used in aiding the selection committee for selection/seeding processes.

(I guess, after that, it is not needed.)
