I think it is interresting that of the 12 D-1 programs in Illinois, the Valley has the best RPI numbers.

Hmmm, no contest MVC is the best of all seven conferences in the state.

It may be interesting but it really doesn't say much about the conferences as a whole especially considering Illinois is in a down year.
 
Yeah, how do you go from that list to talking about conferences? Do you really think the MVC is better than the Big Ten and Big East this year?

If you are saying the MVC has the best team in the state (ISU), you'd be right.

They have one more day of being the best in IL.

I think it is pretty clear what the first post is saying.

It is saying the MVC has better teams in the State of Illinois than any other Conferences. TEAMS. ISU, SIU AND BRADLEY. All from the MVC. The MVC has the BEST TEAMS in the State of Illinois.
 
MM you are on the same page as me with what I was trying to convey.

No, I don't think MVC is better than Big 10 or Big East.

But, this year in the State of Illinois MVC is the dominant representative of D-1 conferences. Am I spin-doctoring a little? Yes.

But the RPI numbers speak for themselves.
