Starting Lineup Pick-em

I'm certain this hasn't been started and at risk of being deleted, I just thought I would do something fun and start a pick-em for our lineup tonight...

And for a bit more fun, give us who you would start if you were JL

(And no negatives, because this ISN'T saying any of us know better than Coach Les)

Here's my projected 5:

Salley
Wilson
Warren
Crouch
Ruffin

Here's who I would start:

Austin
Salley
Wilson
Crouch
Ruffin

I think that I agree this will be the starting lineup, and would have been the past two games had there not been issues.
The only question is whether DRuff will be inserted at the start, but it has been working well with DRuff as 6th man...so why change.

Druff will start if he is 100%. He is our best player when healthy so why not start him. SM then can come in and substitute for AW, JC and DR when needed.

I also see us using RA and SS more tonight early on to pound the boards. Our bench is not looking so bad either: SM, RA, SS for the most part.

I'd like to see the starting line up as: DR, JC, TW, RA, SS

Now we can have DC substitute for SS, MS for RA, AW for TW and JC, SM for DR and move DR to the 2 occasionally to give JC a break.

DR
AW
JC
TW
MS
This is our starting lineup;
SM,RA,SS and TCS should get 12 or more minutes as they have been contributing and I would like to see Austin get 20 as he has been coming on strong , SM should also get 20 or more min.

The most important game is the one tonight !

All these initials are making me sick! Haha.

I think it'll be Ruff, Crouch, Warren, Wilson, and Salley, with Austin and Maniscalco getting big minutes off the bench.

i think there is no reason to go bigger than SM, JC, AW, TW, and MS. they start a 6'8" guy who isn't even a good rebounder or offensive threat. their other forward is 6'4" and, if i were to guess, would not stand a chance against TW on the boards. i see RA and DR getting in a lot like some of you have already said. i truly think this will be a blowout.

I think they'll go with:

Ruffin - Crouch - Warren - Salley - Austin

I like the way we start games with the 2 bigger bodies inside, IMO - bringing Wilson and Sam M off the bench would be good offense and a good spark....

The starting lineup Indiana State used at Illinois State was......

Todd McCoy (6-4)
Jay Tunnell (6-8 )
Gabe Moore (6-1)
Harry Marshall (6-0)
Marico Stinson (6-3)

That's only one guy taller than 6-4!
So I doubt we'll start with Sam Singh or Rashad Austin in there, as Matt Salley can handle their one big, who characteristically doesn't play all that close to the basket anyway, and averages only 4 rpg, only 3rd best on the team.

Sam M.
JC
Matt Salley
Adrew Warren
Theron Wilson

I know D Ruff is our best player but we've been playing so good with him coming off the bench, I don't think there's a need to change a good thing.

Ruff
Warren
Crouch
Salley
Wilson

kinda unoriginal, but i think its what will be used.

Sm
Jc
Aw
Tw
Ms

I have to agree.
I want DR's minutes limited to about 30/game as long as possible to guarantee that there is no re-occurance.

DR is so good that once he is in, they won't take him out. The only sucessful way to limit his minutes now, is off the bench where he can "rest" the first several minutes of each half.

I liked the end of game lineup the best!
SM
AW
TCS
WE
DC
Let's do it again! (for the same reason)
