Oregon students cross the line--AD apologizes to UCLA

The student section at the University of Oregon, called the Pit Crew, screamed obscenities and homophobic slurs at UCLA freshman Kevin Love (a native of Oregon) throughout their game last Thursday. Some of the most offensive signs were confiscated, but many more signs and chants were encouraged by Oregon officials, until it went too far.

Today, the Oregon AD apologized to UCLA and to Kevin Love for the outrageous behavior of their students.

And I'm positive that these individuals would take "supposed" gay individual over who they have on their roster any day of the week and twice on Sunday

At Indiana, the student group chanted F*** You Ref late in the game against UConn. The Athletic Director, as well as a large part of the Indiana crowd, were incensed at the crude and unsportsmanlike behavior of the students. Later, Kelvin Sampson issued an open letter to the students pleading for better sportsmanship.
