It's too bad he couldn't get serious about school. He would have logged a lot of minutes this year.

That article came out last Friday on the iowa State Scout site. it talks about their top recruiting priorities for their class of 2009. And it focuses on Dwight Buycks. I didn't post anything about it when it came out, because it does not mention Bradley. That doesn't mean anything, as many of these recruiting articles on Scout and Rivals treat mid-major recruiting interest as if those schools don't exist.
Here are a couple clips from the article--
Dwight holds no current scholarship offers but said that Iowa State, Kentucky, Indiana, Marquette, and Tennessee are the main schools that have been recruiting him. "I've talked to Iowa State Assistant Coach T.J. (Otzelberger) a lot and our relationship is good. We talk a lot and he has told me that they would love to have me there," said Buycks
Dwight also learned about Iowa State from current Cyclone Diante Garrett. "We both are from Milwaukee and he and I are real close," said Buycks. "He's not trying to pressure me or anything but he just told me that we would be a good 1-2 punch if I went there."
Dwight is currently at Indian Hills taking summer classes in order to get ahead with his school work. "It's important to me and will be with whatever school I choose," he said. "I want to make sure they have a program that will keep me focused on both basketball and my grades."
Buycks said he will likely wait until during the season to make a final decision. "It will probably be made during the season," he said. "I just want to see how everyone feels about me before I commit."

as most recall - Dwight Buycks was actually signed and seasled to Bradley back in 2006 - verballed & signed LOI - but ended up going juco - and thus we lost him...
now he's signed to a MULTI-YEAR NBA contract with the Raptors
Makes ya wonder what might have been - he literally had one foot on campus then NCAA declined to accept his test scores
