  • BU recruit- class of 2009- Jarred Shaw

Here is another name that has surfaced that Bradley has been recruiting.
Jarred Shaw. He is a 6'9" , 210 pound post player from Dallas Carter High School. He is described as a kid with great skills and a lot of upside potential.
In a premium article posted yesterday, he lists the following schools that have been recruiting him--
Shaw says that no visits are set as of yet, but he does have interest from many more programs.
"Texas A&M, Western Kentucky, Oklahoma State, Tennessee, Nevada, Bradley, Iowa State, North Texas, and Georgia State are looking at me."

Texas Hoops Analysis: JARRED is an extremely long and lean player with some intriguing talents and skills. He is a good athlete for his size, runs the floor very well and has very long arms. He can really contest shots in the paint, alters and blocks shots consistently and is a good rebounder. He finishes well in the paint, has a soft touch from 10-12 feet and gets easy buckets on the offensive boards. He needs to play with a higher energy level and needs to add a lot of weight and strength to be able to compete in the paint at the college level.

He also says he is not planning to decide on a school until after his senior season.

This morning when that Rivals article above came out, the Rivals profile did not yet list Bradley, and Jarred Shaw wasn't rated.

But now his profile has been updated and he has been upgraded to 3-stars, and Bradley is listed in the profile--

From what I am able to find out about him, he sounds a little like Anthony Thompson.
