The Indiana Rivals site has a new article on Justin with some video.
    It may require a password.

It appears that even if you don't have a Rivals account, and can't read the article, that you can still watch the video by clicking on the link below.
The video of Justin Gant came from Terre Haute North's game last Friday night at Indianapolis Warren Central.
Gant finished with 17 points, eight rebound and four blocked shots.
He is #50 in the dark uniform.

From all indications, Gant is Butler's #1 priority in '11 as a 3/4. From a well-sourced opinion, BU is going to be strong/HTB, here.

From a pretty reliable source I have heard from, Butler has not offered Justin.

Gant Has Offers, Plenty of Interest

..Justin Gant is one of the best
The 6’8” sophomore forward ..will be a major factor in (Indiana) Elite’s success this summer..
Gant is an excellent rebounder who can score
                  around the basket,
“I like to play inside out,” Gant said.
Both Indiana State and Iowa have been impressed

                  okay too.”

Michigan is now interested in Justin Gant-

                    Premium article-

                    Clips-
Terre Haute North's Justin Gant has been tabbed one of the best sophomores in his state. He boasts a nice touch, great instincts and interest from several Big Ten schools, including Indiana, Purdue, and most recently Michigan.
U-M coaches will be at his schools this week to watch a workout along with coaches from Butler, Purdue and others, his father Mike said recently, a sign they're picking up the interest.
"You know about the letters kids get ??¦ we've gotten some, but this is the first I'm aware of we've heard from Michigan," he said. "We actually saw them play went we went to the Illinois game when they played Michigan. Where we're located, it's a hard time getting to a lot of Big Ten games because we play on some Saturdays. That one was on a Sunday."
Iowa was the first Big Ten school to offer Gant, but an offer from Bradley after last year's Pitt Jam Fest got the ball rolling on his recruitment. Remaining in the Midwest is appealing, making the Big Ten an obvious option, but Xavier has made a push while others continue to inquire.
Gant, listed at 6-7, 170-pounds a year ago, is in the weight room four days a week and continues to get stronger, working on his skills to play on the wing. Iowa, Rice, Bradley and Indiana State have offered, and he was slated to visit Butler Sunday. Michigan's interest definitely puts the Wolverines in the mix, said his father.

an update on Gant from a premium AAU report...here's a little clip...

"...Gant and Etherington both had their moments. Gant is a skilled power forward who rebounds, shoots it well from deep, and can block some shots. As he gets more physical and assertive, he will see his production increase greatly.
Justin Gant has full rides from Iowa, Wright State, Bradley, and Indiana State with interest from Xavier, Purdue, Butler, Michigan State, and Northwestern."

another comment from a premium blog...
"Justin Gant .. seemed to improve (his) lot this weekend in the eyes of scouts and probably have solidified (himself) as high major prospects.
Gant had three treys in one game and is as smooth with the ball on drives as any player his height."

Here is a new article about Justin Gant from the Xavier University Rivals site--

It is a premium article, but here are a couple clips. It sounds like Justin has several serious offers.--

Skilled forwards who can shoot the ball from deep as well as play down low are very popular in college basketball. One such player is really emerging from the state of Indiana. Class of 2011 prospect Justin Gant has opened eyes early in the spring, and at the moment is seeing his stock soar in the eyes of college coaches.

With his improved play, Gant is now attracting significant attention on the recruiting trail. Gant's recruitment really began last year after an impressive showing in April, but now it has gone to a whole new level.

"Last year at the Pittsburgh Jam Fest he had a great tournament, and he got on the all-tournament team," explained Mr. Gant. "On the way home we got an offer from Bradley. Coach (Jim) Reamer called and said that Bradley had offered. That was on a Sunday, his next open gym was on a Tuesday. At that open gym Coach (Matt) Painter from Purdue was there, Brandon Miller from Ohio State was in the gym, Indiana State was in the gym, and that kind of broke it open. Before that we hadn't heard from anybody."
He continued, "Some of those schools are still around. We haven't heard much more from Ohio State, but Purdue is in there. Justin has been to some football games up there and has played open gym with their guys. Indiana State has been there from the beginning, Xavier is one that has been around for quite a while and we have been to some games over there. Bradley was the first one to offer and we would like to get over there, and recently Northwestern and Michigan have come in. Coach Mahoney from Michigan has been by a couple of times to open gyms, and we are talking to them quite a bit."

Mike Gant has explained to his son the opportunity that all of those schools are presenting to him for the future. "Butler is 42,000 or 43,000 (dollars) per year, I don't know about you, but I can't write that check. I showed him my student loan bill that I am paying right now. I told him that he is going to come out of school with no student loan debt, and someone is going to want to hire him, so he just has great opportunities."

Among the other visits that Gant has taken, a pair of them have been to Xavier. While the family wasn't sure what would happen after Coach Sean Miller left for Arizona, the new Xavier staff made sure to keep in touch.

For the Gants that was re-assuring because the family liked what they saw when they visited Xavier's campus this year. "The environment at Xavier was incredible. It was sold out both games that we went to, and the facilities are of course top notch. The way they treat you, the players were friendly to Justin, and taking a tour around the campus, looking at the upgrading of the facilities was real interesting."

For the remainder of May, Gant is going to be running with the Indiana Elite-Team Indiana squad who came home with the championship at the recent Spiece Run 'N Slam. However in June Gant is hoping to make a few campus visits both with his high school, and on an individual basis.

With so many coaches coming into the picture, Mr. Gant just wants Justin to keep everything in perspective and realize that there is work to be done. "It has been a neat process, but one that we are trying to keep Justin grounded with. We know a lot of the attention he has gotten is based on potential, and he knows he has to get better. We are just trying to keep him on the path to getting better every day."

Justin Gant will be playing with a new AAU team for the rest of the spring and summer, Indiana EliteOne--

Here are their rosters (Justin is not listed yet). They have some great talent-

This is the same AAU team that Jordan Prosser played for last summer--

and Matt Roth and Lewis Jackson played for them in 2007.
