    For what it is worth...
Ben Avercamp was here at the Maryland-Eastern Shore game today...
His family parked next to me and I saw his Germantown High jacket he was wearing as we walked in...
I unfortunately have no other useful tidbits to add to this post...but I can 100% affirm that Ben Avercamp was in Carver Arena for the game today...

Does JL contact these recruits about coming to the games or are they showing up on their own? I have no idea why he would have them come to this game since it could possibly be the worst home game atmosphere of the year besides maybe tonight game vs Florida Gulf Coast. Maybe this was the only game that he could come down to or something. I just think it would be weird for JL to request that he come down this weekend of all weekends

They are invited. It was probably an unofficial visit, because the official visits have to be monitored very closely, so the kid would have been escorted by a coach.

I bet with all the kids having their high school season themselves it's hard to get them down to "certain" games like Michigan State. Sometimes, I bet they just have to come to a game to fit their schedule. My guess is the kid isn't playing yet, so this was the best fit for him.

new to the board. I was just searchin the web to see the updates on ben and saw this forum. So I figure i join. I go to G-town with Ben. There is no talk on who is is interrested in at all. But I must say he is WOW. So far this season he is racking up blocks more then last year and as far as points and boards its what you would expect

Keep us informed on how he is doing. He sounds like a solid prospect. He visited Bradley earlier this season for the Bradley-Maryland-Eastern Shore game.

First game in the playoff for Germantown.
Ben had 12 points with the most impressive MONSTER dunk in the fourth. Along with a handful of blocks and idk how many boards

Good for Ben. He sounds a little like Jordan Prosser who most people around Peoria know.

Another Big game for Ben 16 points he has when I last looked at the score board. Handful of boards. This next game tomorrow against Milwaukee Vincent will be a HUGE test to see how good he is

Ben Averkamp verballed to Loyola of Chicago yesterday.
He had visited Bradley with his parents early last season and attended a game at Carver Arena. He told me he really liked Bradley. However, Bradley did not offer a scholarship, and may have dropped off his recruiting lately.
