Another name that has emerged as a Bradley big-man recruit is Tim Toler. He is a 6'7", 260 pound power forward from Avon, Indiana. He averaged 15.7 ppg, and 9 rpg as a junior.
I would like to see us add him to the squad for next year as we need to sign at least 3 freshman to each class if at all possible so we do not have so much turnover from season to season; it would create a better balanced team with 3-3-3-4 and we would not have to go the jc. route as much as we have lately ; with that being said I am very happy with all the Jr. college players we have now and the ones we had in the past.
Tim Toler, who was a BU recruit out of high school, finished his junior college career at Danville Area CC. Yesterday he committed to Northern Illinois over offers from Southern Illinois, and Eastern Kentucky-
He'll have 2 years of eligibility at NIU, and will likely play against Bradley next season, as NIU will play at Carver Arena.
I believe the Bradley coaches looked at him recently because he his size, 6'7", 270 pounds, but did noit make an offer.
