Van Coleman reports that 6-7, 195 Power forward Kevin Phillips is being recruited by BU. He is from Brooklyn Bishop Laughlin and is described as a "monster rebounder"/one of the best rebounders in the Jr Class. Also listed are Virginia, Indiana, Va. Tech, U Mass, Rutgers, Seton Hall.

Scout.com lists him as a 2-star prospect, but does not list any schools--
Rivals.com does not have him in their database.
He is an AAU teammate with another BU recruit Devin Hill--

Kevin Phillips has committed to Drexel.
At one time he was listed as a Bradley recruit, but BU is not mentioned in recent articles. The Scout article says Phillips picked Drexel over interest from George Washington, West Virginia, Marist, UNLV, Houston and Temple.
