BU recruit- class of 2016- Daniel Soetan

Many members already know about this recruit, since he was at the Bradley-Ball State game Friday, Nov. 13, and I sent out PMs to about 100 members who requested the info. Now some recruiting sites are reporting the visit and offer, so we'll post it publicly.

Bradley is recruiting 6'4" Daniel Soetan who is playing a 5th year this year at Quakerdale Prep in Iowa. He is originally from Chicago
He made an official visit to Bradley last Friday, and received a scholarship offer from Coach Wardle-

More info- Daniel Soetan is a 6'4" combo guard who is attending Quakerdale Prep Academy in the small town of New Providence, Iowa. He is somewhat under the radar, and there is not a lot about him on the internet.

With all the freshman guards, I am a little surprised that this offer went to another shooting guard. I thought it would be a point guard or someone for the front court.

He is capable of playing point guard, played some PG in high school, and is a full time PG at Quakerdale prep. He may not be the prototypical playmaking point guard that Wardle seems to like, but he can play the position.

Man, I sure like the way Soetan adjusts his shot as he approaches the hoop. He is very athletic and pretty smooth. Good length on him too.
