  • Looking forward to the recruiting classes of 2017 & 2018

Extremely impressed with Wardle's first batch of recruits in the 2015 class. Now that we have our 2016 class signed, sealed, and delivered, what's next? It's widely known that the class of 2017 is as strong as 2016 the class was weak. With that being said, how can the BU Braves capitalize on this wealth of in-state talent? Looking at the scholarship grid, it appears that we will not have a single scholarship available for any 2017 class kids? Is there any way of clearing room on the roster between now and then? I might not be reading the grid correctly, and quite frankly I really don't understand the grid. So any assistance would be appreciated. As for the class of 2018, it appears we have 2 scholarships available. How good is the class of 2018?

We have a few 2017 recruits listed on our Recruiting board, and some are very talented and impressive kids (A.J. Youngman, Da'Monte Williams, Ramon Douglas-Watkins, etc), and I am sure we'll soon hear more names.

By the way, as it stands now, if Bradley fills all 3 available scholarships for 2016, they will not have any scholarships open for 2017, since there are no juniors on the team (except redshirt junior Alex Foster, whose scholarship will not open until 2018 ).

And as noted, the class of 2017 in Illinois is much deeper in talent than 2016, so it would be great if Bradley Coach Brian Wardle had more open scholarships to stock up on some of the 2017 talent.
Who knows? A lot could happen before 2017.

I believe Terrance Lewis has been mentioned here as receiving an offer from BU. Of course one or more of the manual kids would be nice.

Recruiting for 2017, as DC mentioned, will depend a lot on how this year's freshman class develops.
