6-8 power forward from Chicago, Manuel Patterson was mentioned a couple weeks ago..

but now he has more info on his Rivals recruiting page, and they list a scholarship offer from Bradley.

Here's the article that mentions the Bradley offer-
"Meanstreets' 16U point guard Evan Gilyard is undersized, but he's an energetic playmaker and capable scorer with the ball in his hands. He said Kansas, Texas and Georgetown have expressed interest lately, on top of the offers he already holds from Illinois-Chicago and Chicago State. Bradley and Wisconsin-Green Bay are interested, too.

Teammate Manuel Patterson, a 6-8 forward, said he's hearing from Saint Louis, Green Bay, Stanford, Virginia Tech and others.
Green Bay, Bradley and Loyola have offered, Patterson said.
The Kenwood Academy forward said he plans to take an unofficial visit to Illinois in August."

One-time BU recruit Manuel (Manny) Patterson of Chicago Kenwood HS has set up his first 2 official visits to Wisconsin Green Bay on Sept 16-18 and Bowling Green on Sept 23-25. No report of plans for a Bradley visit.

Bradley coaches were in Chicago to watch manny patterson today. One recruiting expert said:
Bradley Univ turning up the heat on 6'8 2017 PF Manny Patterson of Kenwood. Watched him at open gym today along w/ UIC & Bowling Green.

Bradley is still recruiting Manny Patterson and working on getting him down for a visit, but this weekend, he is visiting Coach Wardle's old school, Wisconsin-Green Bay.

Manny Patterson is visiting Central Connecticut State the weekend of Oct. 13-15.

Starting at 1:09 of the video he lists the schools recruiting him. The audio is not real clear, but he no longer seems to be considering Bradley, which is no surprise considering the commitment of Elijah Childs and the lack of scholarships. He lists off Towson, Iona, SIU, Bowling Green, Central Connecticut, and Green Bay as the schools still in the recruiting mix.

the fact that our staff had still been checking on a few of the 2017 recruits means they are staying prepared in case we do have more open scholarships..

- Manuel Patterson is repeatedly getting some good press in Chicago as one of the top unsigned seniors...
- a couple other unsigned seniors, Ra Kpedi and Romelo Burrell are also doing well but apparently still waiting for something higher than mid-major to offer...
