Verbal Commits and Dave Reynolds are also reporting the commitment. Has Bradley ever had 3 international players not he same team? Counting Okafor, there are 4 foreign born players in the freshmen class.

Actually, we had Callum Barker's info over a week ago. Many members knew about him per PM so soory to those who didn't.
But Coach Wardle asked that we keep his name off the board, since only a couple D1 coaches even knew about him. We were complying with his request.
He was mentioned briefly here once we learned he was coming for a visit

Obviously no offense intended, and I had read other mentions before, I was merely attempting to be humorous. The real interesting thing here is that callum had verballed to loyola previously. Shady action to verbal to a conference rival earlier this spring before committing to the school he actually preferred. I hope he turns out to be a great player and great person, just seems shady to me.
One last thing before I call it a day, if loyola decided they could replace him or recruit over him before the current recruiting period is even over, why should I get excited about him? I mean I am willing to believe coach wardle will get the best out of callum, I just don't know why I should fool myself into getting excited for next year when every other college basketball professional decided it was okay to let callum twist in the wind to this point. I hope he proves them wrong just not gonna place any bets on it.
Porter Moser didn't know much about CB. He oversignd by taking a juco kid late and screwed Callum by revoking his offer. FWIH Barker is tough kid who has decent skills and a big upside. Coach Wardle was excited to get him and passed on several other kids to save the scholarship until he could visit.
By the way DC did PM me about a week or so ago saying we were after a foreign player. Someone else told me were close to an announcement. I just searched twitter for Bradley mentions and saw the tweet was all. I knew nothing about who exactly it was.
I appreciate that this staff just goes about their business and gets things done..
they don't seem to want to spend their time basking in the limelight or seeking local press coverage...and they sure don't toot their horns endlessly about potential recruits that they host for visits - only to never have a chance on later on...
keeping it quiet reduces the chance of other schools' negative recruiting or interference

I think Dick Versace used to do this. If I remember right he hid Voise Winters at his girlfriends house until after he signed with Bradley
Callum Barker is the perfect compliment to the other recruits that Bradley signed. He is a true 5 who will match up with any other 5 in the MVC, once he gets a little experience and develops a little. I have heard that his offensive game is pretty well developed and he has a nice mid range shooting touch. He'll need work on his defense and footwork to keep the fouls down. He's played against pros who are much older than he is in the Australian pro-am league he played in. I also hear he is a bright kid and learns quickly. Superb job by Coach Wardle and Coach Adams who scouted and knew about Callum Barker from his Australian connections.

After a long process and a very hard decision I am excited to announce that I have signed to play basketball with Bradley University, a division 1 NCAA school in Peoria, Illinois. I would like to thank all the coaches and team mates who have helped me develop my game to this point and allowed me to achieve my dream to play NCAA basketball.
In particular I would like to thank Randy Livingston, Justin Schueller The Tasmanian Institute of Sport, Phoenix basketball club and The Hobart Chargers for their continued support over the years.
This should be an exciting few years and I can't wait to see what the future holds.
I see one of his Tasmanian teammates & friend has signed to play at Southwest Baptist Univ.
in Bolivar, MO (just outside of Springfield, MO) and leaves Callum a note that he's gonna come & watch him play..
