Anyone know why he's changed high schools 3 times in the last year...
the Montrose page still shows him in the team picture but he's been removed from the roster.
He was a McD's All American nominee at Montrose

Rivals lists his interested schools as Arizona, Texas, Florida, Marquette, Illinois, Iowa, and Missouri.

And Telep just tweeted that Swopshire is the best uncommitted SF in the nation, behind only #1 overall recruit Andrew Wiggins.

          Bingo.
Hahaha I read that Telep tweet and thought he said Swop was the best left-handed SF after Wiggins.... I was like thanks Telep....that means alot

I love how he is rated higher than 2 Indiana signees and a boatload of other BCS schools SF's

Glad to see us get a recruit, and can't be mad about getting a solid wing player. Welcome to the Hilltop, Jordan. Now, let's fill that final scholarship with a big. Unless Nate really bulks up, we're going to be lacking in the post.

I'm with you on this one. We can't go into next season with just our current bigs and expect to move up much in the league. Do really like our new people but agree with "T" we need some 3 point shooters and a big. Think we will see 1 to 3 people leave but most likely just 2. Tucker and Swopshire should give us very good 3's for 4 years. I'm getting excited.

I think we'll up inking Delaney to start at the 3, and a couple of bigs (one JUCO, one high schooler/prep schooler).

Very good news. I am a little surprised that it was another freshman. Not sure how much the three freshmen will help next year. Kind of like Geno building for the long term instead of going all juco.

A juco big does seem like the way to go with the next one.

                      Go Braves.

Geno has one more three that he wants to sign, who would be the starter. Zecevic would likely then redshirt (I presume). I'd also look for two post players (1 JUCO/1 high school or prep school).

Sounds like a good plan to me. Of course that depends on who would leave to free up the extra scholarship or two. If the juco big is a good player and the starter at the three is Delaney, this team could be real good next year. And maybe for several years to come.

                          I hope you are right.

unfortunately the school changes have affected a few of the rankings but Swopshire has been mentioned in several Top 150 articles...
..if Delaney has a good series in Hutchinson at the NJCAA Nationals - then he'll get more offers - it'll be tough

I think Delaney is more about credit transfers than other opportunities.

btw - as long as we are talking 6-6 wing players - anyone see the games involving Edwardsville & Garret Covington??

Covington is going to WIU and actually looks to possibly be the best one of the best players at State who isn't on Simeon...
he is physically developed, consistent, - a decent ball handler and outside shooter - and impressive even on defense...
He hits almost 60% overall and is 100-182 on 3-pointers! (55%)
He also grabs 10 rebs a game and is among his team's leaders even in assists.

His teammate, Tre Harris, is also a 6-6 wing player who averages 18 & 10 and is an even more accomplished defender.
