Couldn't agree more. But it needs to be a shooter that can guard the opposing teams 3, like JC, not like a smaller Roth-mold player who is more limited to the 2.

Absolutely. If we are going to run this same offense going forward, we have to keep stocking the cupboards with guys that can shoot 3s...
We don't want to run the risk of adding athlete after athlete, and then find ourselves in a situation where we are an extremely athletic team full of a bunch of 6'5" to 6'9" guys that can run and jump but can't make a shot...

        • george, you are guilty of a most serious violation...you have suddenly doomed a player to fail by putting such lofty expectations upon him!!

Who's our 5 next year? We are losing our 2 best 5's(DC and SS), and everybody seems to think AT and WE are 4's...

            • I think WE, AT, and JP will share the duty

ER3 You are dead on. That is exactly what Gary Williams at Maryland has recruited and see where that has placed them lately. We need someone that can create on his own and shoot the long-ball.

                  • They have a good chance of winning that tourney....
They are the top seed and their toughest competition come from Dwight (6-1), GCMS (Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley), and Prairie Central.

                    • BU's other 2009 recruit Milos Knezevic is also playing in a holiday tournament this weekend. Liberty High School is playing in the MaxPreps Torrey Pines Invitational, one of the top tournaments in the west, and includes 77 teams from all over the US.

The Libery team also did a little charity work this week.

Team picture at hospital- Milos is in the back, just right of center.

                            Lexington 74 - GCMS 67

                            also

                            • Just in case anyone was wondering, the Hawk Classic was postponed today due to power outages caused by the storm that passed through the area. It's scheduled to resume play on Monday I believe.
