it was a pleasure that his parents allowed him to join us for a few games that summer...I knew he was going to a great player...hard work ethic..knowledge of the game beyond his years.....and he was very very polite around my family....his parents should be proud...they have done well....

        • Did anyone else notice that Jordan Prosser signed his LOI left-handed.
I have watched him play basketball a number of times, and he shoots and plays right-handed, but can use his left hand quite well. He may be ambidextrious, and I know there are a lot of golfers and participants in other sports who play with their non-dominant hands, but I am not sure I have ever seen a basketball player who does that.

          • Mike-- the news about Wilkins passing his SAT with a very good score, is actually OLD news.....check your old blogs if you saved any, as I mentioned that a couple weeks ago...
The SAT test date was Oct. 4, and the results were known by about 10/20

In fact, by now John Wilkins also has the results of the ACT he took a couple weeks ago (on Oct. 25), since my own daughter got her report yesterday and I know John Wilkins took his the same day.
Another poster who has knowledge of the situation has said JW also expects a fine score on that...

Right now, the academics seem in order...and we need the NCAA Clearinghouse to act quickly.

ISU has verbal commitments from a pair of players from Chrisman High School in Independence, Mo. ??” guard Justin Clark and forward Jon Ekey. Because of a death in Ekey??™s family, they are not expected to sign and fax their letters of intent until late this week or early next week.

                • Congratualtions to Jordan and Milos. I am looking forward to seeing these two players in the future.

Also looking forward to future Bradleyfans road trips to Eureka HS basketball games.

Great news. With all the returning "bigs," those recently signed and and verbally committed, let's hope the talent level is high enough that we're able to play more than one of them at a time. The four-guard offense has served us well, but I continue to think we can't win the Valley when we're so frequently out-rebounded

I am personally a big fan of the 4 forward offense. Tough to do at a mid-major level though...

If we get that pg, then I would love to get a center with a Mike Williams "take no prisioners mentality" with the last scholarship.

If that person is out there for us!

I'd say playing more, bigger, players in the same system is the plan. JP's quote (in at least one article) was that he needed to keep working on ball-handling and 3 point shooting.
