This squares with the timing he gave Rivals: "I kind of want to decide sometime in early August if I can." It's also been my experience that a thread like this wouldn't normally still be up if some of our more inside-the-circle-of-trust mods hadn't already heard something positive. Or am I just hoping too hard?

If true, I'm happy for Jordan and Bradley. BU never backed down, even when the bigger schools came a-callin'. Good for JL and EB that their persistence paid off. Get the kid draining threes to add to his powerful inside game, and you've got a star here in Peoria.

We wanted big and that is what we are getting. No more small ball after this year! I hope JL knows how to rotate the big guys to keep them happy. There should be plenty of depth to have these guys bang on each other during practice. Welcome JP to the BU family! Imagine if JL picks up that pure shooter. We are pretty set everywhere else for the immediate future.

I'd say we will be looking for another pure center and a point guard for the following year.

JL you have out done yourself and great work and congratulation to you and your staff.

I wonder if there has been anything on any of the other fan boards about this that had offered him a ride? Indiana????

No more small ball after this year! Wrong! It starts this year!
7', 6'10, 2-6'9s, 6'7 and 2-6'5s These guys aren't going to sit, this is how we are going to win the MVC this year!
There is no team in the the MVC that can match up to us the whole game, if our bigs come to play! BU will win the the MVC this year!

I agree. Usually it takes a strong inside presence to win the MVC.

Out of Bounce I still say we will start small this year. Our starting line up will probably be:

                SM
                DD
                AW
                TW
                ??

DO we have more height sure, but it will take some time for most of them to really contribute. Our strength is still with the guards.

I got a feeling scheduling is gonna continue to be a problem.

I second that idea. Let's keep the discussion here about Jordan Prosser.

Because of the weekend, it is nearly impossible to connect with someone who can give us further information and confirmtion about this. But we are trying. Be patient.

By the way, the November NLI signing period is November 12, 20008 - November 19, 2008.

This is a great idea. As soon as we know Eureka's basketball schedule, we'll post it here. Maybe we can have a Bradley section at all his games!

Checked some comments on Illini board and there's obviously some bad blood there. Can someone enlighten me about why Illinois-Champaign-Urbana fans are so bitter? Seriously . . . I have no idea what that's about.

I respect your thought but as you know I disagree. The bigs will be ready from the start. Only Brown is new! We can't wait, we need to establish our style of play and the type of team we are going to be from day one. I have been saying for a long time, there is NO MV team that can match up to us on the inside! With the #'s/rotation of our bigs and if they put players on their butts and push them out of the paint,We win the MV!If we go small look for us to be 4-6 in the MV again. As much as Jimmy loves guards, I think he now knows that if we are going to be the force everyone wants, he has to have some horse's inside. I don't like guessing/picking the starting five but I will say this DD will win the MV #6 man award. Also I see us being a 9 to 10 deep team this year (5 true bigs and 5 guards).
As for JP what a great catch to go along with all the other bigs coming.
